Scattered showers and thundershowersexpected in Mpumalanga and Limpopo could lead to localised flooding, especially in low-lying area, according to the South African Weather Service (SAWS).

Widespread rain is expected along the KwaZulu-Natal coast and adjacent interior, and strong coastal winds in the northern parts of the provinces.

Impact-based warnings

Yellow Level 4 warning: Disruptive rain leading to flooding of settlements, roads and bridges is expected along the coast of KwaZulu-Natal and its adjacent interior.

Yellow Level 2 warning: Disruptive rain leading to localised flooding of settlements, roads and bridges is expected in places along the east coast of the Eastern Cape and its adjacent interior in the morning.
